Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, and rum. Mix until well blended.
Stir in the pecans.
Pour the mixture into a pie crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 55 minutes.

Let the pie cool before serving to allow the filling to set properly.
