Meatloaf Recipe

This classic meatloaf recipe is a crowd-pleaser, easy to make, and packed with flavor. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef
  • 0.5 lbs Ground pork
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.25 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, ketchup, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan.
  • Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetables for a complete meal.
