Mississippi Pot Roast

  • 3 lb Chuck Roast Trimmed of excess fat
  • 1 packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • 1 packet Au Jus Gravy Mix
  • 1 stick Butter Cut into pats
  • 5 Pepperoncini Peppers With a little juice

Preparation Steps

  • Place the chuck roast in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  • Top with butter pats and pepperoncini peppers.
  • Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, or until the roast is very tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  • Shred the beef and serve over mashed potatoes or rolls.
