One-Pan Taco Rice

This quick and easy One-Pan Taco Rice is the perfect weeknight meal, packed with flavor and simple ingredients!

  • 1 cup long-grain rice uncooked
  • 1 pound ground beef lean
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the taco seasoning and stir to coat the beef evenly.
  • Stir in the rice and beef broth and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is cooked.
  • Remove from heat and top with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Garnish with green onions or fresh cilantro for additional flavor. Adjust the level of spiciness by adding hot sauce or diced jalapeños to taste.
