Oven-Braised Beer Brats

Juicy beer brats slow-cooked in the oven until tender and flavorful, then finished with caramelized onions for a delicious twist.

  • 1 lb Bratwurst sausages
  • 1 cup Beer
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized.
  • Add bratwurst sausages and beer to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  • Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until sausages are cooked through.

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
