Easy and delicious oven-roasted asparagus with olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice.

  • 1 lb Asparagus Thick or thin spears
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Extra Virgin
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 0.25 tsp Salt To taste
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper To taste

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Wash and trim the asparagus spears, removing the tough ends.
  • In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Optional: Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
