Parmesan Chicken

This Parmesan Chicken recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make dish, perfect for a weeknight meal. Crispy chicken cutlets are coated in a flavorful Parmesan crust and baked to golden perfection.

  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs Panko preferred
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • Pound chicken breasts to 1/2-inch thickness.
  • In a shallow dish, whisk eggs. In another dish, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. In a third dish, place flour.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in egg, and finally coat with the Parmesan mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Transfer chicken to the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  • Serve immediately.
