Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Stir in the peaches and milk until just combined.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat into a 1-inch thick circle.
Cut into 12 wedges and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with butter and jam.
