Peking Chicken

If you love Peking Duck, give the chicken version a try! This Peking Chicken recipe is tender, flavorful and slow cooked to perfection.

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 6 pieces boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 6 pieces green onions sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 cups soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation Steps

  • Spray the inside of the slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken thighs inside and season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • In a small bowl, mix together green onions, garlic, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and sesame oil. Pour over top of the chicken thighs.
  • Cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or until the chicken is cooked completely.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice and garnish with extra sliced green onions or sesame seeds for added flavor and texture.
