Pepperoni Pasta Bake

A delicious and comforting Pepperoni Pasta Bake, perfect for a family dinner. This recipe combines pasta, pepperoni, a rich tomato sauce, and a cheesy topping.

  • 1 pound Pasta (penne or similar)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 0.5 cup Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 28 ounce Crushed tomatoes
  • 15 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 6 ounce Pepperoni, sliced
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Stir in cooked pasta and half of the pepperoni.
  • Pour pasta mixture into a baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, and the remaining pepperoni.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Serve hot and enjoy! Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
