Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese

This Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Cheese combines the classic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak with the comfort of a grilled cheese sandwich. It's a hearty and delicious meal!

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 0.5 pound Thinly sliced ribeye steak
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 0.5 cup Diced onion
  • 1 cup Sliced bell peppers (mix of colors)
  • 4 slices Provolone cheese
  • 4 slices Bread (Italian or your favorite)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, softened

Preparation Steps

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Add onions and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Return the steak to the skillet and top with provolone cheese. Cook until cheese is melted.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet. Top with the steak and cheese mixture, then top with the remaining bread, butter-side up.
  • Grill until golden brown and cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Cut in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with your favorite sides, such as fries or a side salad.
