  • 1 cup Butter, softened Unsalted
  • 2 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
