  • 1 crust Pie crust 9-inch, pre-made
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 Eggs Large
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese Swiss or Gruyere
  • 0.5 cup Cooked bacon Crumbled
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.125 tsp Black pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place pie crust in a pie dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in cheese and bacon.
  • Pour mixture into the pie crust.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or cold. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
