Ranch Chicken Crock Pot

This easy Ranch Chicken Crock Pot recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal. Tender chicken breasts are cooked in a creamy ranch sauce until they are fall-apart delicious. Serve it over rice, pasta, or with your favorite sides!

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened

Preparation Steps

  • Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle the dry ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
  • Pour in the water.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • About 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time, add the cream cheese to the slow cooker.
  • Stir the cream cheese into the sauce until it is melted and creamy. Shred the chicken with two forks.
  • Serve over rice, pasta, or with your favorite sides.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper. You can also add vegetables to the slow cooker, like chopped bell peppers or onions.
