Root Beer Float Fudge

  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 0.75 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 cups white chocolate morsels
  • 1.5 cup marshmallow cream
  • 3 teaspoons root beer concentrate McCormick's recommended

Preparation Steps

  • In a large saucepan, heat the granulated sugar, unsalted butter, salt, and heavy whipping cream until combined. Bring to a boil and stir continuously for 4 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat. Quickly stir in the white chocolate morsels and marshmallow cream. Whisk vigorously until smooth. This may take a couple of minutes. Using an electric mixer can yield the best results.
  • Pour half of the fudge mixture into a 13x9 inch baking dish lined with parchment paper. To the remaining fudge mixture, whisk in the root beer concentrate until combined. Pour this root beer flavored fudge over the white chocolate fudge. Using a knife, gently swirl the two layers together.
  • Refrigerate the fudge for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until firm. Once set, cut the fudge into bite-sized pieces and enjoy. It tastes great served cold!
