Salted Caramel Carmelitas
A delightful combination of caramel and chocolate in a cookie bar form, perfect for any occasion!

caramel sauce

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix until crumbly.

Press half of the crumb mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
Remove from oven and pour caramel sauce evenly over the crust.

Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel.

Crumble the remaining crust mixture over the top.
Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
