Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
In a large skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
In a large bowl, combine the browned sausage, hash browns, 1 cup of cheese, onion, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup of cheese.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and the eggs are set.
Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
