  • 1.5 pounds sausages casings removed
  • 2 sheets puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 large egg beaten, for egg wash

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine sausage meat and bread crumbs.
  • Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut into rectangles.
  • Place sausage mixture along one side of each pastry piece and roll up.
  • Brush tops with egg wash and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Can be served hot or cold. Great for lunchboxes!
