Sesame Chicken

This delicious sesame chicken recipe features crispy chicken pieces coated in a sweet and savory sesame sauce. It's a perfect weeknight meal!

  • 1.5 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 0.5 cup Cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup Vegetable oil
  • 0.5 cup Soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 0.25 cup Rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame seeds
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated

Preparation Steps

  • Cut chicken into 1-inch pieces. Toss with cornstarch.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
