Preparation Steps
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the beef in batches until browned on all sides. This step adds flavor.
Transfer the seared beef to the slow cooker.
In a bowl, whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
Pour the sauce mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is very tender.
Serve the beef bites hot, with the cooking liquid.
