Instructions
Preparation Steps
Season chicken with salt and pepper and place in the slow cooker.
Pour crushed tomatoes over the chicken; add onions and peppers; season with oregano and bay leaf; stir and cover.
Set the slow cooker to LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4 hours.
When finished, remove bay leaf and stir in chopped fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Tip: Serve with crusty bread or polenta for a complete meal.
