  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 slices Burger buns
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Divide ground beef into four equal portions.
  • Season each portion with salt and pepper.
  • Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place one portion of seasoned beef into the skillet and smash it down with a spatula to create a thin patty.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Top with cheese during the last minute of cooking.
  • Repeat with remaining beef portions.
  • Serve on burger buns with your favorite toppings.
