These Snowball Cookies are a classic holiday treat! They're buttery, melt-in-your-mouth cookies coated in powdered sugar.

Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chopped pecans.
Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
While the cookies are still warm, roll them in powdered sugar. Let cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.
Notes
These cookies are best served at room temperature. Store in an airtight container.
