Sticky Chicken Rice Bowls

These sticky chicken rice bowls are packed with flavor and easy to make! Tender chicken thighs are coated in a sweet and savory sauce and served over fluffy rice with your favorite toppings.

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 0.5 cup cooked rice
  • 0.25 cup chopped green onions

Preparation Steps

  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  • Add chicken thighs to the bowl and coat with the sauce. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  • Serve chicken over rice and top with green onions.
