Instructions
Preparation Steps
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out one pie crust to fit a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan.
In a large bowl, mix strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch until well combined.
Pour the strawberry mixture over the pie crust in the pan, spreading evenly. Dot with butter pieces.
Roll out the second pie crust and place over the top of the filling. Seal and crimp the edges.
Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
Allow the pie to cool before serving.
Notes
Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for added delight.
