Taco Spaghetti

A fun and flavorful twist on classic spaghetti, combining the best of tacos and pasta!

  • 1 lb Ground Beef Lean ground beef recommended
  • 1 oz Taco Seasoning One packet
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz can, undrained
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce 15 oz can
  • 8 oz Spaghetti Uncooked
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese For topping

Optional Toppings

  • Sour Cream To taste
  • Salsa To taste
  • Green Onions Chopped, to taste

Preparation Steps

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease.
  • Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • While the sauce simmers, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain well.
  • Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the meat sauce. Toss to combine.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and serve immediately. Top with optional toppings as desired.
