Texas Roadhouse Seasoned Rice

A copycat recipe for the famous Texas Roadhouse seasoned rice. This flavorful rice is easy to make and perfect as a side dish.

  • 1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add rice, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Add water and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until rice is cooked through and liquid is absorbed.
  • Fluff with a fork and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley or chives before serving.
