Thanksgiving Casseroles

A delicious and easy Thanksgiving casserole recipe featuring seasonal vegetables and savory herbs.

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 4 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Preparation Steps

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  • Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened.
  • Pour into a greased casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving.
